One of my boards has a challenge thread where we have to do an LO using a certain kit and this was my page. All of the papers I used came from Shabby Princess called Express Yourself and the template called Window pane is here.

Birth Announcement

One of our friends just had a baby and sent pictures via e-mail. So what did photoshop-addict Stephanie do? I made a birth announcement. I made it "smiley" and "X"ed out their names for their privacy, but I was really happy with the announcement and wanted to share it.

And here was his birthday invite and my first attempt at digital scrapping. It's not great, but it shows me how far I've come too. I was going for the comic book/superhero look, but fell a little flat. I also edited out the personal info so there are blank spots where the phone numbers, address and website were listed. :) The papers and elements are from Joy Crowley's Comic Junkie kit available at Oscraps.

Jaxon's First Soccer Lesson

Jaxon was so excited to start soccer lessons and I was ready with camera in hand to catch him in action... or so I thought. The lighting at the indoor arena was bad and I didn't have it on the setting for that, so all the pics blurred. I still wanted to commemorate the day, so here a slightly blurred LO.

This is a 2 page LO from our fourth of July. Hopefully the journaling shows on the computer... it is so much easier to read in print than on a screen. They also look so much better side-by-side... oh well!
